Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- oil - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- can pumpkin - 1 oz
- walnuts or pecans optional - 1 c
How to make pumpkin bread:
Mix oil, sugar, eggs and pumpkin together. Combine dry ingredients and mix with other mixture. Grease and flour three 1 pound coffee cans and the 1 (16 ounce) pumpkin can. Pour each 1/2 full or you can use 2 (9 x 5 x 3-inch) loaf pans. Bake at 300° about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool 10 minutes and remove from cans.
