Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- nuts - 1 c
- cream of tartar - 1 tsp
- yogurt - 3/4 c
- lemon peel - 1 tsp
- diced prunes - 2 c
How to make prune nut bread:
Cream butter and sugar; add vanilla. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Add dry ingredients and then add the yogurt, diced prunes, lemon peel and nuts. Bake in 2 greased loaf pans at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Plums.
