Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- soda
- buttermilk - 1 c
- corn syrup - 1 Tbsp
- self-rising flour - 1 c
- Wesson oil - 3/4 c
- mashed prunes - 1 c
- each: nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon - 1 tsp
- Cook in slow oven 300°
How to make prune cake:
Mix together well. Cook in slow oven (300°).Glaze:1/2 c. buttermilk1 Tbsp. corn syrup1/2 c. sugar1 stick margarine Melt over low heat until sugar and margarine are melted. Punch holes in hot cake and pour glaze over the top.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
