Ingredients/Components

  • water - 3/4 c
  • cooking oil - 2 Tbsp
  • plain flour - 1 item
  • garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
  • medium onion - 1 item
  • green peas - 1 c
  • to 4 carrots - 3 item
  • beef pot roast - 4 lb
  • seasoning salt and pepper - 1 item
  • to 4 white potatoes - 3 item

How to make pot roast:

Coat the roast with flour. Brown roast on all sides in cooking oil. Sprinkle lightly with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Add onion and water. Cover and roast for about 2 hours at 325° or simmer on low fire for about 2 hours. Add vegetables and cook about an hour longer or until meat and vegetables are tender.
