Ingredients/Components
- water - 3/4 c
- cooking oil - 2 Tbsp
- plain flour - 1 item
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- medium onion - 1 item
- green peas - 1 c
- to 4 carrots - 3 item
- beef pot roast - 4 lb
- seasoning salt and pepper - 1 item
- to 4 white potatoes - 3 item
How to make pot roast:
Coat the roast with flour. Brown roast on all sides in cooking oil. Sprinkle lightly with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Add onion and water. Cover and roast for about 2 hours at 325° or simmer on low fire for about 2 hours. Add vegetables and cook about an hour longer or until meat and vegetables are tender.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
