Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- butter, melted - 1/2 c
- pineapple juice - 1 item
- grated sharp cheese - 2 c
- cans unsweetened pineapple chunks - 2 oz
- Ritz crackers or corn flakes, crushed - 1 c
How to make pineapple casserole:
Drain pineapple and save juice. Mix flour and 6 tablespoons of juice (may add 12 tablespoons) in a small bowl. In a separate bowl, combine pineapple, cheese and sugar. Pour juice mixture over pineapple and cheese. Mix well. Place in a 2-quart casserole dish and top with crushed crumbs. Pour butter over crackers.
