Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 5 lb
- vinegar - 1 gal
- 2-inch cinnamon sticks - 8 item
- whole cloves to taste - 1 item
- to 36 medium whole peaches, peeled - 24 item
How to make pickled peaches:
In large stockpot, bring vinegar, sugar, cinnamon and cloves to a boil. Boil for 35 minutes, then add peeled peaches. Cook until soft. Pack peaches loosely in quart jars and pour vinegar mixture over peaches.
