Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- cider vinegar - 2/3 c
- clove garlic - 1 item
- okra - 1 item
- dill seed - 1 tsp
- hot pepper - 1 item
- uniodized salt - 1/2 tsp
How to make pickled okra:
Pack in hot jar the pepper, garlic, dill seed and okra. Bring vinegar, water, sugar and salt to a boil and pour over okra. Fill jar not quite full. Process 10 minutes in hot water bath to seal. Makes 1 pint jar.Recipe categories: American, North american, Kwanzaa.
