Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- all-purpose flour
- persimmon pulp - 2 c
- ginger or allspice - 1 tsp
How to make persimmon pudding:
Combine pulp, eggs, sugar, melted butter and milk. Thoroughly mix flour and other dry ingredients and combine with pulp mixture. Pour into greased loaf pan or large baking bowl. Bake at 325° for one hour, stirring often. Serve warm or chilled, topped with whipped cream.Recipe categories: Fruit, American, North american.
