Persimmon cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1 c
• flour
• baking powder - 2 tsp
• shortening - 1/2 c
• lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
• cloves - 1 tsp
• persimmon pulp - 1 c
• soda add last - 1 tsp
• warm water add last - 1/4 c

How to make persimmon cake:

Mix in order given. Add 1 teaspoon soda mixed in 1/4 cup warm water. Bake in tube pan for 45 minutes at 350°.
