Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- salt - 1/4 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- finely chopped pecans
- white Karo syrup - 1 c
- melted oleo - 1/4 c
- 9-inch deep dish or 1 10-inch pie shell - 1 item
How to make pecan pie:
Cream together the syrup and sugar. Add oleo and salt. Mix well and add eggs; beat for 150 strokes. Add pecans and mix well. Pour into pie shell and bake in moderate oven (325°) for 40 minutes or until done.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
