Peanut butter cookies

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 1 Tbsp
• packed brown sugar
• milk - 3 Tbsp
• salt - 3/4 tsp
• baking soda - 3/4 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• shortening - 1/2 c
• all-purpose flour
• peanut butter - 3/4 c

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Heat oven to 375°. Combine shortening, peanut butter, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl. Mix until well blended. Add egg. Beat until blended. Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture. Mix until blended.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Flatten slightly with a fork. Bake at 375° for 7 to 8 minutes or until beginning to brown. Cool 2 minutes.
