Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- Cool Whip - 1 item
- envelope Knox gelatine - 1 item
- small box orange jello - 1 item
- 2 1/2 can sliced peaches - 1 (No
- large can Carnation evaporated milk - 1 item
- small chiffon cake, broken into bite-sized pieces - 1 item
How to make peach supreme:
Cook the peaches (minus 1/4 cup syrup), jello and sugar until well dissolved. Add gelatine that has been softened in 1/4 cup peach syrup or water. Cool.Freeze the evaporated milk in an ice tray (about 45 minutes). Whip the milk and fold it into the jello mixture. Place a layer of cake pieces into a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan, followed by a layer of jello mixture. Let jello mixture fill in the spaces. Follow with the rest of the cake pieces and a layer of jello mixture. Pat down. Chill. Top with Cool Whip.
