Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- almond extract - 1/2 tsp
- heavy cream - 1/8 c
- lemon juice
- sliced peaches, drained - 5 c
- sugar plus 1 tsp - 3/4 c
- unbaked 9-inch pie shell with top crust - 1 item
How to make peach pie:
Filling:1 tsp. lemon juice1/2 tsp. almond extract5 c. sliced peaches, drained3/4 c. sugar plus 1 tsp. sugar4 Tbsp. flour3/4 tsp. cinnamon2 Tbsp. butter1/8 c. heavy cream Preheat oven to 425°. Add lemon juice and almond extract to peaches. Stir together 3/4 cup sugar, flour and cinnamon. Add to peaches and mix well. Pour into unbaked pie shell and dot with butter. Cover with top crust, flute edges and vent top. Brush top with cream and sprinkle 1 teaspoon sugar on it.
