Peach cobbler
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- milk - 3/4 c
- flour - 3/4 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- 1 stick butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- can sliced peaches - 1 1/2
How to make peach cobbler:
Mix peaches and 1 cup of sugar in a bowl; set aside.Combine all other dry ingredients and then stir in milk. Set this mixture aside.
In a 350° oven, melt butter in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Pour in peach mixture. Then pour second mixture of flour, sugar, milk and baking powder over peach mixture. Do not stir. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Batter will mix with peaches as it bakes. Sprinkle with cinnamon and lemon juice.
