Peach blueberry pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1 item
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- all-purpose flour - 1/3 c
- ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- ground allspice - 1/8 tsp
- sliced, peeled peaches - 3 c
- fresh blueberries - 1 c
- pastry for double crust pie - 1 item
- cinnamon-sugar - 1 item
How to make peach blueberry pie:
In a bowl, combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and allspice. Add the peaches and blueberries; toss gently. Line pie plate with bottom crust. Add the filling. Dot with butter. Top with a lattice crust. Brush crust with milk. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Bake at 400° for 40 to 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly. Cool.Note: Frozen fruit may be used if it is well drained.
