Ingredients/Components
- tomato sauce - 8 oz
- ham - 1 item
- large onion - 1 item
- fresh or 10 oz - 2 c
- macaroni #39
How to make pasta and peas:
Chop and fry onion in a little oil. Cover and simmer until soft. Add peas and ham if you wish. Cook all together. Add a small can tomato sauce and 1/2 can water. Salt, pepper and garlic to taste. Cook until soft.While this is cooking, cook 2 cups of macaroni. When draining, save some of the cooking water. Combine all ingredients together and cook another 5 minutes. If more water is needed, add some of the cooking water. Sprinkle with Italian cheese.
