Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- tomato juice - 1 c
- medium onion, quartered - 1 item
- Minute tapioca - 2 Tbsp
- carrots, cut into chunks - 6 item
- to 6 potatoes, cut into chunks - 4 item
- cut up beef stew meat - 2 lb
How to make oven stew:
Place meat and vegetables in a roaster. Sprinkle with salt, sugar, pepper and tapioca. Pour tomato juice over. Cover and bake in a preheated 300° oven for 4 hours. Stir occasionally.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Stew.
