- water - 1 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- jar whole mushrooms - 1 oz
- envelope dry onion soup - 1 item
- flour and pepper - 1 item
- chuck or rump roast - 3 5
How to make oven pot roast:
Dredge roast in flour and pepper; brown in butter in a Dutch oven. Combine soups and liquid; pour over roast. Cover; bake in a 325° oven for 2 1/2 hours. Add mushrooms. Bake 30 minutes longer.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Roast beef.
