sugar - 2 c
cinnamon - 1 tsp
eggs - 4 item
milk - 4 Tbsp
salt - 1 tsp
flour - 4 c
baking powder - 2 tsp
baking soda - 1 tsp
shortening - 1 c

How to make old fashioned sugar cookies:

Cream together shortening, sugar, salt, cinnamon, eggs and milk. Sift together flour, baking powder and baking soda. Mix the two groups of ingredients together. Drop by teaspoon and flatten with glass bottom dipped in sugar. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
