Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • raisins optional - 1 c
  • margarine - 1 c
  • pecans - 1 c
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • uncooked oats - 3 c

How to make oatmeal pecan cookies:

Mix margarine and sugars together. Add egg and vanilla. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add to other ingredients. Stir in oatmeal, pecans and raisins. Pour onto wax paper. Makes about 3 logs. Chill. Slice and bake at 350° for about 10 minutes.
