Oatmeal cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/2 c
• cinnamon
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1 tsp
• brown sugar - 1/2 c
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• shortening - 1 c
• plain flour - 2 c
• raisins - 1 c
• pecans - 3/4 c
• oatmeal - 2 c
• milk or buttermilk - 1/3 c

How to make oatmeal cookies:

Sift together first 4 ingredients. Mix all ingredients together except raisins and nuts. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed. Add raisins and pecans. Drop by spoonfuls on greased sheet. Bake at 375° for 12 minutes.
