Ingredients/Components

  • margarine - 1 lb
  • pecan halves - 1 lb
  • garlic salt - 1 Tbsp
  • onion salt - 1 Tbsp
  • peanuts - 1 lb
  • cashews - 1 lb
  • celery salt - 1 Tbsp
  • box Corn Chex - 1 item
  • box Rice Chex - 1 item
  • small can Parmesan cheese - 1 item
  • small box Cheerios - 1 item
  • pretzels small sticks

How to make nuts and bolts:

In large roaster spread cereal in layers. Spread all nuts on top.

Melt margarine. Add cheese and all salts. Spread over top of nuts. Do not stir! Cover and bake 1 hour at 240°. Uncover and bake 30 minutes more, stirring occasionally. Cool before serving.
