New england pot roast
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- horseradish - 1/2 c
- small onions - 4 item
- carrots, quartered - 4 item
- small potatoes, halved - 4 item
- rolled rump roast, trim fat - 2 lb
How to make new england pot roast:
In pot, brown roast on medium for 5 minutes each side; add salt and pepper. Spread horseradish over; add water on side and cook over low heat for 1 1/2 hours. Add vegetables and cook for 1 additional hour. (If done in oven use 350°.)Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Roast beef.
