Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- water - 1 c
- shortening - 1 Tbsp
- onion soup mix - 1 pkg
- fine dry bread crumbs - 1/4 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- minced parsley - 1 item
- uncooked rice - 1/2 c
How to make near east meatballs:
Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, milk and salt. Shape into 18 meatballs. Brown meatballs in shortening. Pour in soup and water; bring to a boil. Stir in rice and cover. Simmer 30 minutes or until rice is tender. Stir often. Garnish with parsley.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
