- vanilla - 3 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- cocoa - 1/3 c
- shortening - 1 c
- nuts - 1 c
- miniature marshmallows - 1/2 pkg
- pecans - 1 c
- sticks oleo - 2 item
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- canned milk - 1/2 c
- whole eggs - 4 item
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs, beating by hand. Sift cocoa, flour and salt; add vanilla and nuts. Bake for 35 minutes at 300°. Add marshmallows and bake 10 minutes at 350°. Cool completely; ice as follows.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
