Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped nuts
  • flour
  • stick margarine - 1/2 item
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • mini marshmallows - 1 item
  • Melt margarine and cocoa together

How to make mississippi mud brownies:

Preheat oven at 350°. Melt margarine and cocoa together. Remove from heat and stir in sugar and eggs. Add dry ingredients and vanilla. Bake in 13 x 9-inch pan for 30 to 35 minutes. Do not overbake! Immediately cover with marshmallows. Top with icing while still hot. Cool.Icing:1/3 c. cocoa1/2 c. milk1/2 stick margarine1 box powdered sugar Melt margarine and cocoa. Remove from heat. Add some sugar, then milk, then remaining sugar. (Use electric mixer to get smooth.)
