Ingredients/Components
- cloves garlic, minced - 3 item
- grated cheese - 1 c
- carrots, diced - 2 item
- cooked pasta
- cup chopped onion - 1/2 item
- sticks celery, chopped - 2 item
- cup chopped green pepper - 1/2 item
- olive oil or butter - 4 Tbsp
- quart canned tomatoes - 1 item
- cup chick peas - 1 item
- Small bunch parsley - 1 item
- kidney beans - 1 c
- cup water - 2/3 item
- vegetable bouillon cubes - 2 item
- wine optional - 1/2 c
- Herb salt to taste - 1 item
- medium zucchini, chopped - 2 item
How to make minestrone soup:
Saut?© onion, garlic, celery, green pepper, in olive oil or butter. Add all other ingredients except pasta and cheese. Cook until all vegetables are tender. Add cooked pasta. Top each bowl with grated cheese. Serves 12.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Soups & stews, Italian.
