- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- grated cheese - 2 c
How to make microwave macaroni and cheese:
Cook macaroni according to directions. Drain well and pour into a casserole dish. Microwave butter on High until melted. Blend in flour and salt. Stir in milk until smooth. Microwave at High for 5 1/2 to 6 minutes, stirring with a fork every minute until thickened. Stir in cheese until completely melted. Stir sauce into drained macaroni; mix well. Microwave at Medium for 7 to 10 minutes, stirring after 4 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Elbow macaroni.
