Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- water - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- cinnamon or nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- peeled, cored and sliced cooking apples - 6 c
How to make microwave applesauce:
In a 2 quart microproof casserole, mix apples, water and lemon juice. Cook covered, on high (max. power) 10 to 12 minutes, or until apples are tender. Stir in remaining ingredients until smooth. Serve warm or cold with pork or as a light dessert with ice cream or cool whip.Makes 4 to 6 servings.
