  • butter, softened - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • confectioners sugar - 2 c

How to make mexican wedding cake:

Cream butter well. Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar; cream until fluffy. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pinch off small pieces of dough.

Preheat oven to 350°. Put dough pieces on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes. While hot, roll in confectioners sugar. Cool on rack. Makes 5 dozen.
