Ingredients/Components
- water - 3 qt
- can tomato sauce - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- stalk celery, chopped - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- cloves garlic, chopped - 2 item
- small can tomato paste - 1 item
- salt, pepper, rosemary and thyme - 1 item
- can Ortega chopped chiles - 1 item
How to make mexican fried rice:
In kettle place ingredients. Boil and simmer for at least 1 hour. Fry 1 quart rice in heavy pan with small amount of oil. When turning color is apparent, put rice in kettle and cook until done. (May have to add water.)Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, White rice.
