Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- eggs - 3 item
- flour - 1/2 c
- cornmeal
- Wesson oil - 1/2 c
- can Mexicorn - 1 item
- grated cheese Cheddar
- jalapeno pepper, chopped fine - 1 item
- large grated onion - 1 item
How to make mexican cornbread:
Mix all ingredients together until of semi-smooth consistency. Pour into a greased cast-iron skillet. Bake at 375° about 25 to 30 minutes. Top should be golden brown and edges slightly darker.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, North american.
