- eggs - 3 item
- flour - 1/2 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- grated cheese
- corn meal
- jalapeno pepper, chopped fine - 1 item
- large grated onion - 1 item
- small can Mexicorn - 1 item
- large green pepper, diced fine - 1 item
- jar pimento pieces - 1/2 item
How to make mexican cornbread:
Mix corn meal and flour. Whisk eggs. Add all other ingredients to cornmeal mixture and mix until wet. Pour into a greased cast-iron skillet; bake at 375° for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown on top.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, North american.
