Mango chutney
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 4 c
- raisins
- cider vinegar - 2 c
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- oregano - 1 tsp
- basil - 1 tsp
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- clove garlic, split - 1 item
- half ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped - 5 c
- preserved ginger, minced - 3/4 c
- chili peppers, finely chopped - 2 item
- each: cloves, allspice and nutmeg - 1 tsp
- Accent MSG - 1/4 tsp
How to make mango chutney:
Into a Tupperware container, put 4 (4 ounce) cans button mushrooms and 2 large cans artichoke hearts (drained and quartered). Shake ingredients in Good Seasons bottle and pour over mushrooms and artichoke hearts. Seal well and place in refrigerator. Turn over each day. Good after 3 days; fantastic after 6 or 7 days.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Chutneys.
