Ingredients/Components
- all purpose flour - 3 Tbsp
- margarine - 3 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- cups shredded cheese - 2 item
- 1/2 cups elbow macaroni - 1 item
- cups Carnation milk - 2 item
- cup minced onion, optional - 1/4 item
How to make macaroni casserole:
Melt butter, blend in flour. Add milk. Cook over medium heat until it begins to thicken. Remove from heat. Add salt and pepper, onion, if desired, and cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. Put already cooked macaroni in casserole dish and pour in all ingredients, already mixed. Stir thoroughly.
