Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- powdered sugar - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1 c
- lemon juice - 6 Tbsp
- lemon rind - 1 tsp
How to make lemon bars:
Blend margarine, powdered sugar and 2 cups flour; press into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Beat the eggs until fluffy. Add the sugar; beat at medium speed. Add lemon juice and lemon rind. Fold in the 4 tablespoons flour and the baking powder. Spread over bottom layer; bake for 25 minutes. Cool; sprinkle with powdered sugar.
