Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 5 Tbsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- powdered sugar - 1/2 c
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 4 Tbsp
- grated lemon rind - 1 tsp
How to make lemon bars:
Cream butter and margarine. Add sifted flour, sugar and salt. Pat into greased pan 15 x 10 x 2-inch. Bake 20 minutes at 350°. Let cool slightly and add filling. Beat eggs and add remaining ingredients. Mix well and pour over crust. Bake 25 minutes at 350°. When cold, dust with powdered sugar.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie.
