Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- confectioners sugar - 5 6
- cooking oil - 3/4 c
- orange juice - 3/4 c
- Key lime juice - 1/4 c
- eggs whole - 5 item
How to make key lime cake:
Combine the oil, orange juice, eggs, gelatin and the cake mix and blend well. Pour the batter into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes. Do not overcook. Remove the cake from the oven and while it is still warm, prick the top of it all over with a fork. Combine the lime juice and the confectioners sugar and drizzle the mixture over the cake. (This mixture should be thin so as to penetrate the cake.) Cut the cake into squares to serve.Time will vary; took 35 minutes in my oven.
