- egg yolks - 5 item
- oil - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- egg whites - 5 item
- plain flour - 2 c
- pecans - 1 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
- can coconut - 1 item
- Combine milk, soda and add flour alternately to sugar and oil
How to make italian cream cake:
Cream sugar, oleo, oil and egg yolks, one at a time, mixing well. Combine milk, soda and add flour alternately to sugar and oil. Beat egg whites stiff; add, mixing well. Add vanilla, nuts and coconut. Bake in 325° oven for 40 minutes in 3 (9-inch) cake pans.Icing:5 oz. pkg.
