Impossible bacon pie
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- baking mix such as Bisquick - 1 c
- slices bacon, crisply fried and crumbled - 12 item
- shredded natural Swiss cheese, about 4 oz - 1 c
How to make impossible bacon pie:
Heat oven to 400°. Lightly grease 10 x 1 1/2-inch pie plate. Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pie plate. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in blender on high speed or 1 minute with hand beater. Pour into pie plate.Bake until golden brown and knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting. Refrigerate leftovers. Makes 6 servings.
