Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1 tsp
• flour - 3 c
• brown sugar - 1 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• margarine - 1 c
• cream of tartar - 1 tsp
• white sugar - 1 c

How to make icebox cookies:

Cream together sugars and margarine. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Chill. Divide into thirds. Shape into 3 bars (2 x 2-inch) and freeze. To cook: Slice 1/4 inch slices. Bake at 350° approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Do not overbake.
