- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- margarine - 1 c
- cream of tartar - 1 tsp
- white sugar - 1 c
How to make icebox cookies:
Cream together sugars and margarine. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Chill. Divide into thirds. Shape into 3 bars (2 x 2-inch) and freeze. To cook: Slice 1/4 inch slices. Bake at 350° approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Do not overbake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Egg, Cookie and brownie.
