Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil
- sifted cake flour - 3 c
- beaten eggs - 3 item
- can crushed pineapple in juice - 18 oz
- sliced bananas - 2 c
- box powdered sugar sifted - 1 item
- whipped margarine - 1 c
- Blend all dry ingredients, then add the other ingredients
How to make hummingbird cake:
Mix by hand. Blend all dry ingredients, then add the other ingredients. Grease and flour 3 cake pans. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. When cool, frost.Frosting:8 oz. cream cheese1 c. whipped margarine1 box powdered sugar (sifted)1 c. chopped pecaRecipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
