Hot chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- 8 oz
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 3/4
- mayonnaise - 2 c
- diced celery - 4 c
- slivered almonds - 1 c
- can mushroom pieces, drained - 1 oz
- shredded cheese - 2 c
- 16 oz - 2 c
- boneless skinless chicken breasts - 2 lb
How to make hot chicken salad:
Boil chicken and cut into cubes. Place in a large bowl and add all but cheese and French fried onions. Mix well and transfer to 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese and French fried onions. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes. Makes 16 servings.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
