Homemade chicken noodle soup

- water - 2 qt
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- broiler-fryer chicken, cut up - 1 (2
- stalk celery, finely chopped - 1 item
- fresh parsley, minced or 1 tsp - 2 Tbsp
- rosemary, crushed - 1 tsp
- uncooked noodles - 2 c
How to make homemade chicken noodle soup:
Place all ingredients except noodles in a kettle or Dutch oven. Bring to a boil. Simmer 1 hour or until chicken is tender. Remove chicken. Cool and discard skin. Remove meat from bones and chop. Return chicken to stock and bring to a boil. Stir in noodles. Simmer 20 to 30 minutes or until noodles are done.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chicken, Poultry.
