Herbed chicken casserole
Ingredients/Components
- melted margarine - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- whole chicken breasts - 4 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- herbed cornbread stuffing mix - 8 oz
How to make herbed chicken casserole:
Stew and debone chicken. Tear into pieces. Reserve 2 cups broth. Place chicken pieces in bottom of greased 3 quart dish. Combine soup and 1 cup broth and pour over chicken. Mix butter, remaining broth, celery, onion, stuffing and pepper. Spoon over chicken. Bake at 400° for 35 to 40 minutes or until brown.
