Heavenly hash cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 2 c
- cocoa - 1/4 c
- baking powder
- plain flour
- miniature marshmallows - 3 c
- sticks butter - 2 item
- 1/2 stick butter, melted - 1/4 c
- cream or evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- Stir in sifted dry ingredients and mix well
How to make heavenly hash cake:
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs. Stir in sifted dry ingredients and mix well. Add pecans and vanilla. Bake in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan in 350° oven for 40 minutes.Immediately upon removing from oven, cover surface of cake with marshmallows. Set aside 5 minutes. Pour icing over marshmallow-covered cake. Allow to cool in pan. Cut in squares.Icing:1 (1 lb.) box sifted confectioners sugar1/4 c. cocoa1/2 c. cream or evaporated milk1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter, melted Combine sugar, cocoa, milk and butter. Beat until smooth. Pour over cake.
