Hash brown casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- dash of garlic powder - 1 item
- parsley flakes - 1 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- onion salt - 1/2 tsp
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- stick melted butter - 1 item
- frozen hash browns - 2 lb
- diced ham optional
How to make hash brown casserole:
Melt butter. Cool slightly. Mix with sour cream, Cheddar cheese, soups, ham, hash browns and seasonings. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. In frypan, melt 1/2 stick butter. Mix with 1 1/2 cups croutons and stir until brown. Spread over potatoes. Bake another 10 to 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Side dish, Casseroles.
