Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 tsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- cider vinegar - 5 Tbsp
- butter or oleo - 1/4 c
- onion juice - 1/2 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- cans sliced beets - 2 oz
How to make harvard beets:
Drain beets and reserve liquid. Melt butter and blend in cornstarch. Add beet juice and cook. Stir until thick and smooth. Add sugar, vinegar, onion juice, salt, pepper and beets.
