Hamburger soup
Ingredients/Components
- water - 5 c
- catsup - 1/4 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- stalks celery - 2 item
- medium onions - 2 item
- dried basil - 1 tsp
- barley - 1/3 c
- can tomatoes - 1 lb
- medium carrots - 2 item
- beef bouillon granules - 1 Tbsp
- season salt - 2 tsp
How to make hamburger soup:
Cook ground beef in a large saucepan until browned. Drain. Stir in tomatoes (including juice), chopped onion, sliced carrots, chopped celery, barley, catsup, bouillon, season salt, crushed basil and water. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for one hour. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Clear soup, Main dish.
