Gumdrop cookies

Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• granulated sugar - 1 c
• salt - 1 tsp
• brown sugar - 1 c
• coconut - 1 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• shortening - 1 c
• sifted flour - 2 c
• quick cooking oats - 2 c
• gumdrops, cut in small pieces - 1 c

How to make gumdrop cookies:

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
